A friend from home came up to visit for the weekend, so on Saturday, we headed out to visit Hungarian Falls (Local mirror) It hadn’t rained recently (though it did that night) and the snow load has long since melted so the water wasn’t much more than a trickle. It was still really nice though.
After that, Sarah (my friend from back home), Kevin and I headed out to Breakers and then downtown Houghton by the old train station for a barbeque in the (semi)-rain.
What you have to do is get some marker dye like DNR uses, makes the falls a nice pretty shade of green.
You wouldn’t even be able to tell there was water then for all the algae and moss.
