Yeah, corny title, I know.
I’ve a few more details I can give out about Ruckus at MTU now.
At the moment, that’s about all I have to tell you. I can try to find out more if anyone wants to leave questions/concerns (other than complaining about the operating systems it doesn’t run on, etc.) in a comment.

This weekend, a few of my housemates and I undertook a project to install a fishtank into the bar in our kitchen. The hole was already there, so it was pretty much a process that consisted of:
We don’t have any fish in there yet, the water was far too cold and was only up to 65F this morning. We’re planning on going shopping this weekend after payday. We’re still not sure what we want to put inside.

Well, tonight I finish my migration to all Seagate hard drives. The drive that I thought was failing (and thus the reason I purchased a replacement for it two weeks ago) failed again tonight. It’s not a huge deal for that one, but it is my music and backups drive.
I’ll be pulling it out and copying the backups I made of all that data to it in about half an hour. After that, I’ll use the computer my brother sent up for his girlfriend to use in the fall to stress test the drive. Speaking of that computer, he did something that was pretty dumb. See if you can spot it:
That’s right, he replaced the stock power supply with a better one and the holes do not line up. Apparently his old one didn’t have a power switch. The part that boggles my mind is that he didn’t dremel a new hole for it before he sent it up here with me.
EDIT: Apparently this is actually his computer that he moved from a different case and hadn’t finished working on before I took it up. I was wondering why the dvd burner and 3 hard drives were inside.
I took a trip to see my parents over a long weekend, and had a great time. I got to spend a bunch of time with my dad helping him out on a couple of things. I also got to spend some time hanging out with a couple of really cool people from high school that I haven’t been able to. On the way back up, I got bored sitting through all the construction, so while I was waiting a prepped my camera and was able to snag a few shots like this one:

A bunch of us headed out to Gay the other night (July 5) for a nice bonfire (and fireworks, but someone forgot to bring them…). Kevin and I set up our second big fire of the week, though this one wasn’t quite as impressive. We stayed out there until 12:30am and had a pretty good time.
